I drove all the way from southeastern Virginia to Wilmington, Delaware (the northern tip of the state) to look at Brian(DE) 's 91 TT and he's out playing golf when I arrive. Now, I knew he had a golf game today, but tee time was 9 A. M., and I told him I'd be in town at 1:30 or so. Hr didn't seem to indicate he would have a problem meeting me. Well we made good time, which we didn't on the way back but that's another part of the story, so we got there at 12:45ish. His girlfriend/wife/whatever answered the door and said he was still at the golf course. I asked if she would call him and see what was up. She did, and came back and said he was taking a break, which I took to mean they were at the turn around (9th hole) and he wouldn't be finished until 2:30 at the earliest. I figured that would put him home at about 3:30 at the earliest. WTF??? Is this dope's golf game more important than selling his car? I drove 5 hours through D.C. and Baltimore to get there, and he can't break away from his f***ing GOLF GAME to bring the car back for me to check out? I asked her if he said anything about breaking off and bringing the car back for me to see. She didn't give me a straight answer. I had spoken to him on the phone several times, and he knew I was serious. The car is the exact color I wanted, the exact stuff I wanted on it, and I thought the price was right providing it passed my physical inspection and test drive. I drove up there with the intent to BUY THIS CAR. I'm not some young kid looking for a joy ride, and he knew it. I have never been the victim of such unprofessionalism in my entire life, and I would consider it a personal favor if you guys would VTD any postings you see from Brian(DE) from now on. Unbelievable. Ten hours on the road today for nothing. It would have been one thing if I simply wasn't satisfied with the car. That was a risk I was willing to take, but to be blown off for a golf game? Gimme a break. Thanks for letting me vent. GTR
